This is a very good storage drawer bed in a good quality. The drawers are very easy to operate and give us extra space to put things away, so that to make bedroom tidy. And it is matched well with other Sonoma bedroom furniture. It was bought with 20% discount price, so it is good value.

Wish I had read the review about corners being rounded it is also difficult reaching over the bed as you cant get toes under the bed. Gap at the headboard is to high from the mattress enabling pillows to slide down the back of the bed.

Fabulous bed! Looks great (contemporary classic) and was no fuss- the delivery guys assembled it (along with other bedroom furniture in just over 30mins. Excellent quality with deep practical drawers that slide beautifully. Very happy indeed!

The Sonoma Light Bedstead completes my bedroom makeover. As with all the other items in this range it was delivered and put together in no time at all. The delivery men, as always with M&S were excellent. This range is superb, well made, sturdy and very good to look at.

The bedstead looks great with our other sonoma items we bought at the same time. Just wish the corners of the bedstead could be rounded.

We bought the bed along with other Sonoma Light pieces for our main room. This bed is a really sturdy and the under bed storage is excellent. It is well-made, of good quality and looks really smart. The delivery service was excellent with contact being made the next day to arrange delivery, the men were very good and quick to assemble the bed. I would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely, well-made bed with four 'drawers': not real drawers on proper runners, but for the extra £400 over the non-storage version you get four under-bed storage boxes on tiny casters. Admittedly they are solidly made and look good, and fine if you have laminate floor in your bedroom. On a carpet (tried this in the showroom) the casters sink in and cannot roll properly, and the front panel of the 'drawer' rubs on the carpet. My wife could not move a drawer full of bedding. She tried. Given time, when the bed has compressed the carpet and sunk into it, I expect the tops of the drawers will foul the bed frame. With side runners to carry the weight and line up the drawers with the bed sides, this bed would be excellent. Ikea sell a 4-drawer storage bed (not quite the quality, but quite reasonable: black only, unfortunately) for under £400. It has drawers on runners. For £1199 (£999) I think M&S should re-think the Sonoma specification and sort those drawers out .
