Ribbed Tie-Front Long Sleeve Tunic Dress

I purchased this dress with 20% discount, unsure about its suitability for my height (5'3) What a pleasant surprise. Doesn't trail on the floor, feels lovely and the wrap front hides any tummy concerns. Will look great with my metallic ankle boots.

Love this dress..vintage feel to it.....have had it shortened by an inch or two as it was a little too long for me which made it just right.....

This dress is so easy to wear it is both casual or smart. I love the tie front as it adds interest and detracts from just being clingy. It is a nice length.

Bought this after seeing it on the mannequin as I entered my local store, and immediately knew I had to have it. It's a really comfortable fabric, as others have said it's not too heavy, but falls beautifully, and does not cling. Every time I wear the dress, and it's wearable for both smart and casual I get compliments. No one can believe it's from M&S. I usually wear it with a long gold chunky pendant necklace to dress it up. It washes beautifully and doesn't need ironed.

I saw this in a magazine and shot off to Marble Arch for a try-on. The fabric is thinnish and silky rather than the knitted and woolly I'd expected, but hangs beautifully with a good weight. I am size 10 (M&S!) and 5' 4" so was worried it would swamp me and be too long, having read the other reviews. Although it appears to fall perhaps 4 inches longer on me than on the super-tall model on the website, I am happy with the length. The tie section also fits fine at a comfortable position from waist to top of thigh, so no problems there either - do not be put off on this score, shorter people! I'm sure this will be a very useful and easy to wear garment. The ribbed fabric is more design than function, so the neck is not a snug fit - looking at the pictures I think they show this quite fairly.

This is just what I need for a relaxed but dressed up occasion. I often struggle to find dresses that are long enough for me at 5'9" and this will be lovely with boots

I cannot think of anything to criticise about this dress except PLEASE do it in more colours! It is super on trend, flattering, warm and I will live it in this winter. Already had loads of 'Where did you get that dress? 'M and S'. 'NEVER!'.... style conversations.....!

Material good weight, not too thin and hangs in a flattering way. Bought size 10 which fits my 5'9" frame well. It looks classier and more expensive than it's price tag! I wouldn't hesitate to buy but probably suits taller ladies.

Very pleased with this dress, which is a good fit on me, but I don't think it would be suitable for anyone under 5ft 7 as it is very long and the placement of the tie would be wrong. Incidentally, why is it described on the website as a tunic dress, when it clearly is not?

Absolutely fabulous dress,nothing bad about it,it's super stylish,just wish it was in other colours too.fits well,I am 5ft 10in and size 12,perfect fit.love it.

This is a very flattering and stylish dress which has been much admired when I have worn it. Unfortunately I went out in it almost immediately after I had received it and someone pointsed out to me that the stitching was undone on the sleeve. I had to make a quick repair to about 4 inches around the elbow which had never been stitched, hence the low score for quality.

I'd been admiring this dress online before trying it in store, and I'm so glad I did. As a slim size 8, I found the 6 to be the best fit. The fabric has a good weight to it, but it isn't a heavy knit; it's more of a thick jersey, which feels comfortable and drapes well. The waist tie adds interest, as well as being very flattering. For effortless style this dress will no doubt become a go-to for Autumn.

Bought this dress for a family celebration, but also with an eye to the autumn season ahead. Perfect on both counts. Unfussy enough to be wearable anywhere, yet original with the almost 1920s style hip-tie. It has been hugely admired wherever I wear it, and everyone wants to know where I got it! I am tallish at 5' 8", and probably between sizes. The length was perfect for me. (I wore it with long grey boots). I opted for the larger size, which didnt totally cling to me, so I swithered about returning it and going for a smaller size. But it still looked flattering, being on the slightly looser side, and I decided I would prefer that to having the knit stretched over my curves. Overall, totally delighted with it.
