I don't normally write reviews but I love this jumper! I didn't want a fitted silhouette so I bought up one size. The welt is quite loose which means it doesn't grab you around the stomach like some M&S knitwear so it gives a flattering boxy look. The fabric is lovely and soft, and it feels expensive. It will be my winter go-to jumper.

Like a previous reviewer I also bought this to wear with a black pleated skirt. It looks fab! Thin enough to wear all through autumn and spring. I did have to return the first one I ordered as it had a snag in the arm stitching! M&S please pay closer attention to your stitching - I cannot tell you how often I have to sew neck & arm seams up. Looking forward to wearing it to work!

Although described as "cut to create a fitted silhouette" I found my usual size 12 on the large size, very loose around the middle, but am happy to say the size 10, although not fitted, looks much better. The 100% fine wool is excellent, no itchiness against the skin. The plain deep cuffs are a nice contrast to the stripe, and, together with the button detail, give what could have been an ordinary stripe jumper a bit of a 'special' look. This is not a long jumper, I am 5'6", and it sits just below my hip bone. With my 20% Sparks promotion I feel I have made a good buy and am happy to recommend.

bought this jumper in my normal size 12 ,found it to big,the material in the jumper was of very poor quality way to thin and also did not like the feel of it next my skin.over all to expensive.

I bought this jumper to go with black skirts and trousers as being 5'2" I prefer to have any pattern on my top half. I ordered a size 14 but changed it for a size 12 as I llike a sleek look. It is the perfect length for me and being a lightweight wool it is warm without being bulky. I wore it on a recent trip to Italy and felt very smart. A classic jumper which is a great addition to my wardrobe.

but, wearing my normal size is not a 'fitted silhouette', but I needed the size across the shoulders and am happy with the slightly looser fit everywhere else. Love the detailing on the shoulder, neckline is neat, the wool is lovely on - a very wearable jumper.
