Yes, I recommend this
Lovely skirt but a big fit. I needed two sizes smaller than normal. Also disappointed that the lining is not cotton like the skirt!

No, I don't recommend this
Yes am still waiting for a nice plain white skirt. Plain as in an embossed pattern in white on white if you know what I mean. The first mistake was that I didn't realise it was maxi. Marks' version of midi and maxi lengths varies very differently from mine. The skirt was to my mind oh so plain the material seemed thin and was very creased when unpacked. I could have put up with the draw string waist if everything else had been okay. A definite no-no for me.

Tie Waist?
Yes, I recommend this
A nice summer skirt, cream-coloured rather than white, it's a little large on the waist for me but a good length (ankle length on me at 5'3"). I'm not sure why it is described as tie-waist. To me a tie-waist skirt has a draw-string which can be used to adjust the fit. This is an elasticated waistband with a ribbon bow sewn on at the front.
