Pocket Detail A-Line Mini Skirt

Got it half price in the sale- Excellent ! think full price was a bit steep

Ordered a size 8 and a size 10 to try on. Former was too tight on the waist and latter was too loose. So had to return both. Shame as it is a cute skirt that would go with everything.

Ooh Debbie Harry, Annie Lennox, Joan Jett, you are not forgotten. I can't get away with a skirt this short but I was determined to try. If you've got the legs...get the skirt!

When I first saw this skirt both online and in store, I loved it but I held back, because I felt it might be too young in style for me to wear. I then threw caution to the winds and purchased the skirt in my usual size. The fitting is true to size and I found the waist to be a nice height, as I avoid low waisted items always. I mused over how to wear it, and I realised that I often wear long shirts and tunic tops with just leggings or very opaque footless tights. Therefore with the skirt, I am only adding another layer over the leggings or opaques ,so I am actually covering up ! I am delighted with the way the skirt looks with longline shirts and tops.It looks lovely with the red and white long sleeve Boho top, as seen on the model. I opted for knee length boots, instead of ankle boots - a small compromise to allow for age !! I'm so pleased I took a chance with this skirt. I would not have purchased an expensive real leather version but this skirt is fun and very trendy when styled to suit appropriately.
