Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé Champagne - Single Bottle
Sorry, this item is no longer available
A beautiful salmon-pink champagne with red berry, blood orange and pomegranate aromas over honeysuckle and brioche notes. Rich and seductive in the mouth, it offers a lively mousse of bubbles, excellent complexity and a long, lingering finish.
Blason Rosé was the first rosé champagne made by Perrier-Jouët, dating back to 1956. To create the cuvée, Perrier-Jouët’s cellar master Hervé Deschamps blends up to 50 different vins clairs (still wines) from the house’s prime vineyards, the majority of which lie in the premium escelle des Crus villages. While the blend is adjusted to suit each vintage, in general the wine is made up of around 25% chardonnay, which gives the champagne its elegance and finesse, 50% pinot noir for structure and complexity, and 25% pinot meunier to add freshness and fruitiness. Once in the bottle and second fermentation underway, the wine ages for a minimum of three years to develop its unique character.
