Great quality, thick material and nice shape but a little bit too long. Will have to wear with heeled boots rather than flat shoes.

Love the dress, in fact, I have two. One in a size 18 and one in a size 16. I have lost 2 stone over the months so bought the smaller size as it is a 'good to go' dress. The only thing I can fault is it should be lined!

Gorgeous black dress with a mock, asymmetric wrap that gives it extra style and panache. Bought online without seeing it in the store (very unusual for me!) in the pre sale preview as I relied on the reviews for sizing. I am size 12/14 and 5"4 and bought a size 14. The top fits perfectly (I am bigger busted) although the hips stand out a little and can either be easily fixed or be tolerated. It is not lined but the dress hangs beautifully nonetheless and is a great , flattering length, hanging just under my knee caps. Gorgeous with nude tights and nude coloured shoes, looks classy and wears comfortably. A male friend thought I'd lost lots of weight! An absolute steal in the sale and a wardrobe must-have.

Bought one in a size 14, a little bit too snug in some places. The length was great I am 5”ft 4” and the three quarter length sleeves perfect. The size 16 wa far too big. The material was stretchy and thick so held its shape well. It had to go back as so not flattering bits of me accentuated but that’s down to me.

Sleeves very badly cut so faulty

This dress would have been super as material nice and body part very flattering fit but sleeves weird. The left one had been put in incorrectly making me looked deformed. M&S standards falling drastically. Obviously the reason it was in the sale. Shame I had to return as loved the rest of the dress and style.

Absolutely love this dress! Fits me like a glove & is very flattering. I wear size 16 & have broad shoulders & large breasts with narrow hips, so wasn't expecting the high neckline to be flattering, but it was. I'm sure this will be used well over the years. Great job, M & S!

I bought this dress for a funeral,but I also bought it because the design is so classic I can also glam it up with shoes, boots, scarf and jewellery for other occasions too. Good, flattering fit, great that it comes in short fitting too. I would consider buying more if it came in different colours.

I loved the look of this dress when I saw it online and it wasn't too expensive so I ordered it to store for collection but was so disappointed with the material that I returned it. Cheap material that in my view would not wear very well.

I was looking for a classy dress to help me feel good about myself on the sad occasion of my Mum’s funeral. This absolutely filled the bill. The material is a good weight and I was a bit worried it might be too heavy but it made it look and hang very well. Gorgeous tailoring which made it look a lot more expensive and certainly helped me on the day. Thank you M &S

Returned this dress. The bottom was quite nice with unusual asymmetric detail but the top was far too plain. Looked like a tshirt on the top and quite narrow too. Material not great either. Was quite creased and did not look as though would iron well. Not a great dress at all

I love this dress, it looks better on the person than on the hanger. It's very flattering and is perfect either as the LBD in your wardrobe, or as a smart office outfit. My only small criticism is that the fabric is quite heavy, so it wouldn't be a dress you would want to wear in a crowded and potentially hot environment.
