Linen Blend Checked Trousers

It's a waste of everyone's energy to make and process returns. This jacket in 12 was a roomy 14 so I returned it. I sent for the Twiggy blue striped suit which was fab and fitted!

Good quality. Had to return item as it was 2" bigger around the waist than measurements shown on the size chart. Big all over.

Whilst I liked the pow check your sizings of a number of your garments seem to be all over the place

I ordered these trousers on belief they were for short people they arrived very quickly but when I saw the label it was established that they are actually ankle grazers so this wasn't a bad thing for me as I'm only 5 feet tall ( or short ) if you prefer . There is a good hem so was able to un pick the hem and lengthen an inch which is better than me having to cut them as I would normally do . In the description on line it didn't mention they was ankle swingers but all is well they fit me now . They are a bit itchy but none the less are very smart with a bit of linen . I had a few compliments so that can not be bad . The size was fine but generally I find that M&S sizes are bigger than other high street stores . Go get yrself a pair if you are short like me .

M&S this is you at your best. Well made, value for money trousers - some linen so they are cool, but not enough to get that crumpled look. Fashionable length and easy to wear. More colours please!

I bought these to go with the matching jacket and am very pleased to have found a really on trend trouser suit which I will be wearing for a family wedding later in the summer. I did purchase the trousers in long as I am not personally a fan of the 5/8ths look and at 5ft 6ins the length is exactly right. I am a size 14 generally but had ordered 14 and 16 to be on the safe side; the 14 was fine a good fit.

These are just right for a hot day. They are cool and go with many tops. Either smart or casual. Love them.

When I say these trousers came up small, what I really mean is short. The 18L is exactly the right size for me, but they came up short, much too short. I've now read that they may be so-called 'ankle grazers' but to me they just looked as if I'd been sent a pair of regular length instead of the long length that I ordered. I'm probably being old fashioned when I say that I simply don't understand 'ankle grazers' as they just look like someone wearing a pair of trousers that are too short for them. In addition, the side pockets looked poorly inset, and made for an awful silhouette.

I returned these without opening as I had failed to notice (or the description omitted to say?) the style was ankle grazer or ‘peg’. I then failed to find any simple straight leg full length trousers in Marks which reinforces the view that I am no longer catered for in M&S clothing. For someone else I expect this will be a good trouser. Its a dressy patterned trouser in linen which is a rarity.

I did not realise these were ankle grazers and so are not for me. I couldn't see any mention of this in the description but should I just have gone off the length? They are also a tight fit around the waist, might be because of the linen in the material. Very creased on delivery and would have needed to be ironed before wearing but linen can be like that. I liked the colour and the pattern of the check but unfortunately, because they were too tight and too short (I am 5'8") in the regular length they need to go back. Very disappointed.

I had ordered size 16 which was too tight and also ordered size 18 which was too big. Otherwise I liked the trousers, but they were quite itchy.
