Comfortable midi-skirt
Yes, I recommend this
Saw this in store and just had to try it. I am 5ft 10ins and wearing it lower on the waist than the model shown in the picture so it comes to mid calf and looks great with black ankle boots. Has a nice stretch so is comfortable on the waist too. Haven't washed it yet but think it will be low maintenance and not need ironing.

I love the design and will goth it up a bit with black boots, leather jacket and red lippy! Easy-care material of medium weight, so will go anywhere. I was so thrilled to see this I bought two, one for fat days also!

another disappointing M & S item
No, I don't recommend this
Old fashioned crimplene fabric. The front of the skirt is good three pleats and lots of material which should have been matched at the back as the back of the skirt sits flat which looks very odd. Sadly another return.

Favourite skirt
Yes, I recommend this
This skirt is lovely and can be dressed up or down. Wore to the theatre with a cream blouse but can easily be worn during the day with a sweater or cardio. Very comfortable and true to size. Value for money with 20% off.

So very unflattering
No, I don't recommend this
Dreadful thick textured crimplene fabric. Very poor design with skimpy back panel that pulls and bulky unpressed pleats that add inches over the tum and hips - so very unflattering. Pull on style, unlined and about 30" long. Cannot imagine this looking good on many ladies. M&S could we please have the sort of flattering A-line skirts we used to have that were made in fabrics that did not add inches, hung well and looked smart.
