Lace A-Line Skirt

I have this lace skirt in both colours and it fits very well and is excellent value for money compared to some other makes. Also have both the matching lace tops and they make a lovely outfit.

This is a luxury fabric skirt that could be dressed to go to a summer party. It looks great on the hanger, but wouldn't hang properly on me. My husband pointed out a lump of lace not finished that stopped the zip and on closer examination the back stitching was puckered. What shame. I returned this one - others may find a better finished article

I bought this skirt yesterday in store and when I tried it on last night in my bedroom it was instantly apparent that it was see through. The lining is the cheapest knitted polyester and for £69 I would have expected better from M&S. I do not expect to have to wear a slip underneath a lined skirt- especially in the summer. I took this skirt back to store today, which is a shame because I really loved the lace and the styling.

I tried this on in black, and really liked the lacy fabric, the style and overall shape, and the length (mid-calf on my 5ft 3in). Fit was a little large on the waist, even when I went down a size. However, the problem for me was the external zip at the back, which, on my hourglass figure, just would not sit flat, sticking out in a most unflattering way. Such a shame, as I probably would have bought this in both colors otherwise. I'm sure this will look great on women with very straight figures, but it just didn't work on me.

Nice but you need to make bigger sizes

Superb design, quality/heavy fabric, lovely lace pattern and good length. Contrasting rear metal zip adds a nice touch to the style. Perfect for special occasions.

I bought both the skirt and the top to match and will wear them to Ascot Ladies Day. I had them in White and Black and can't decide which to wear but will be one of them !! It looks very classy.

This will be a very useful addition to my wardrobe. Lovely lace, top quality and the design is excellent. Any top will go with it so it is well worth the money.

loved this item, it feels good quality and hangs beautifully, I also bought the matching top, in both colours. Great for occasion-wear or everyday; it packs well and doesn't crease...not hot weather outfit though as they have lined it with polyester... Cotton jersey would have provided a much better lining as it is forgiving and cool!!

This is a really elegant skirt. I bought the white skirt, but also bought a top in the black colour to go with it and the contrast looks lovely. It is made from good weight material which is neither heavy not flimsy and the pattern is very attractive. It looks a far more expensive skirt than it is. I couldn't agree more with the other reviewer who asked for more skirts in this length. I no longer have the figure to be comfortable in above the knee skirts, but neither do I want to wear skirts that sweep the ground, which seem to be the only options most of the time. Please, M & S, could you go back to doing fashionable skirts in several lengths? Even if it's special order?

Great addition to my wardrobe and very versatile. If you are under 5' 6" then this skirt is long and is almost ankle length on me as I'm short but I love the length.

Go down at least a size, very big, but well made and a lovely mid calf length. Its expensive but you get what you pay for!

To heavy and too ornate for me

I love this skirt and having been waiting a long time for Marks and Spencer to have something like this in their range. It is very good quality; a nice weight to it without being too heavy. It sits just right on the hips and, most importantly for me it is the right length. I am only 5 foot 6 and this sits just at my calf - not too long, just right. Please Marks and Spencer put more skirts of this length in your range. I don't want to be drowned in a maxi dress but I don't want to wear a short skirt either and it is so difficult to find exactly the right length - this one is it. More like it please.
