Hooded Short Padded Thermal Coat with Stormwear™ (5-14 Years)

Very nice coat but returned because of the very shallow hood. No good for Aberdeenshire winters!

I buy the M&S school coat every year. Its such great value and very warm and cosy for our AW seasons.

This is a super coat at a super price, highly recommend. Warm, with a cosy lining, nipped in at the waist and a nice colour.

I have bought age 7-8 for my 6 year old as there is no age 6-7. The fit is a little large but will be ok. The fabric is only ok, I think it looks a bit cheap. The biggest issue with the coat is the hood which is quite shallow, on the first really wet walk to school my daughter has complained that her fringe is wet through as the hood only just covers her ears. Although we will have to keep the coat now I will be looking for something else.

First, I did expect this coat to be of excellent quality and warmth - but when the coat arrived, I was thrilled to see just how pretty it was, in addition to the superb quality. The material has a beautiful silver tone to it, and the inside is incredibly soft. The greatest part about this coat is the elasticized cinched waist gives the rather puffy coat a lovely shape - instead of looking so boxy, as many coats do. Bought for our 7 yr old, who immediately loved the coat, adn it looks great with both her school uniform and non-uniform ensembles. I hadn't planned on adding a coat to my order, but I am so very glad that I did!!

My daughter absolutely loved this coat as soon as she tried it on. I bought the next size up from her age so it would last her longer but it doesn't look too big on her. She now can't wait for the colder weather so she can wear it to school !

Daughter loves the colour and style and the fit is true to size. It seems snug enough to see her through winter. A nice winter coat.

Very warm jacket & look good for my 13 years old daughter

Although a very practical and warm padded coat it was nice to find something which is acceptable for school but also in a slightly different colour - appealed to my more fashion conscious 10 year old!

What can I say? This coat ticks all the boxes. It's warm, fitted, has a hood for those horrible rainy school runs we all dread! To top it all it is a nice neutral school-friendly colour. If you want even more plus points it has a zip which is quicker and easier for little hands than buttons. I hope M&S produce a similar coat every year!

Bought this jacket for my granddaughter to start new term in August. She loved colour and said it was nice and cosy. Good body length and roomy enough to put cardigan on underneath when winter comes.
