Too much fabric

I generally love M&S jeans but this style unfortunately had too much fabric and just looked as if they were drowning me. They fit well on the waist but too big elsewhere.

I was shocked and surprised to say the least when I looked at the jeans. I think this pair got past Quality Control !!! I’ve heard of frayed knees and legs but never a frayed bum area ??? And I did like these jeans. Unfortunately I couldn’t wear them out.

Good fit
Although it took a few goes! I tried 10 short in these beige ones and the pink. I am 5'5 and wanted them to wear with flats. The beige ones were too short but fitted well, the pink ones were the right length but very loose in the waist. I settled on 10R in the beige. The fit of these is good around waist and hip and then wider in the leg. Very versatile shape.
