Layers of fresh fruit flavour underpinned by a buzz of cinnamon tannin make this wine utterly approachable and at the same time devastatingly moreish.
With a host of accolades to its name this red is a triumphant blend of two well-loved grapes and two lesser known stars with plenty of dash and dare of their own. Dolcetto brings bright fruitiness and Lagrein rugged pepperiness. We drink wine with dinner most evenings and are always on the lookout for reasonable quality full-bodied reds, as this one is. Very good value at 25% off! Nice balance of fruit and tannin, decent finish.
