Front Twin Zip Pockets Pencil Skirt

Bought this skirt in a size 14 - found the lining to be all wrong - it felt like there was to much of it and excess lining rubbing against my thigh/knee area so felt really uncomfortable. The skirt and lining look fine on the hanger, it was only when wearing I felt this issue - maybe it is the feel of the lining material on skin ? Either way, I will be returning. A previous comment found the lining too small - I found too much lining in the skirt that received.

This skirt I had to take back it was not made correctly the lining was tight and it did not fit properly on the hips.

Bought this skirt in navy. Colour fine. Sizing fine also. Length...I am 6 ft tall and the 24 in length reached the top of my knee. Quality of material was Ok but no more. Overall, as i bought it in a sale at half price, I was very pleased with it.

This skirt is such a weird shape & looks nothing like the website photo. The way the fabric has been cut & assembled causes the side seams to bulge badly at the hips. I see that it's now reduced in a sale, can't say I'm at all surprised! Mine's going back.

I have the skirt in black and it fits and feels lovely but the blue in same size was tight the lining felt cheap and was full of static The skirt did not hang correctly only positive was the colour was nice So disappointed as the black skirt looks so nice

Lined, fitted skirt. Love the kick detail at the back. This comes in different lengths so can choose shorter length (mini) which my daughter loves. Looks smart for work and evenings.

As I am five foot two with a 34-24-34 figure I have been unable to buy M&S skirts for years due to generous sizing which disadvantaged those of us who are of slim build. However, I have recently noticed that you have reverted to the previous British standard of sizing from the 1980s where a 6 has a waist around 24 inches rather than the 28-30 inches that had become the norm. This has finally enabled me to buy a new pencil skirt from you which, I am glad to say, not only fits me perfectly but also looks great as it clings to my hips. Although I am quite short, the fact the 24 inch length skirt rides up a bit when walking or sitting down makes it appear more like a 22 inch skirt and gives me added confidence. Given the high quality feel of the material, the price is very competitive and I intend to buy another should either red or maroon be introduced to the range.

lovely skirt but size 8 too big so tried an 8 but it was far too tight - not sure what has happened to M & S sizing

I have bought this type of skirt for work over several years this time when the skirts came the material and quality were awful. Nothing like the previous range it was thin and very cheap. very disappointed will now have to shop elsewhere for work skirts

I bought this skirt and when I got it out of the bag was very pleased with the quality of the item but when I tried it on was very disappointed. The seams, at the side where the pockets are sewn in, were puckered and raised. So, rather than a smooth line, as on the photograph, there were lumps and bumps. Just really poor quality sewing. It's gone back.

Thought this skirt looked a little different but after trying two sizes the fit of both sizes round the hips and posterior left a lot to be desired. Both returned.
