I've got this on as I write, bought it for work; it does fit well and I'm happy with the look...BUT it really should be lined, it clings to my tights, so rides up a little as you walk. You'd have though as it is by Autograph this would be lined as standard.....

It is great to wear, very comfy and looks amazing! I wore it to work and I got noticed by all! Loads of great compliments! I am a size 16 and 5ft 8ins so the dress looked very good on me so will recommend it for all! It is not lined but had no problems with this! The material is very good! Just loved wearing this dress, more colours please m&s as you have a winner!

Almost a great dress - but odd fit

This is almost a great dress. Good quality material with a little stretch and nicely trimmed and finished - BUT the fit is odd. I would say that I am in proportion. A size 12 fitted across the bust was baggy round the tummy at the front and a little tight across the hips. The 14 was just too big everywhere, especially the tummy! The fit problems are particularly noticeable with the broad horizontal stripe. I really wanted to keep this dress and bought 3 incase there were variations in size, but sadly it had to go back!

This Shift Dress ticks all the boxes. Found the seam area on the hip to be slightly wide, needs to be taken in slightly, but such a great dress for day into evening wear, so I will be keeping this one

Beautiful fit and quality- more suited to spring /autumn wear than summer as material reasonable thick with some stretch but looks good with shoes or strappy sandals. If shift dresses are your style this dress will flatter. always buy a 14 in dresses from M&S and 14 in this dress fits perfectly
