Creases very badly and rides up. I have bought a similar skirt in tan that is a very similar style and that fits and hangs perfectly. Very puzzling

Smart skirt at a good price

I tried and bought this navy skirt in store. I didn't have the problem with the size described by other customers. I'm very happy with it. It's smart and I can't fault it for the price. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the navy is almost a black in natural light. I would have preferred a 'bluer' navy.

The skirt itself is very nice although I had to buy a bigger size than usual. I particularly like the fabric & the style. The thing that lets it down is the lining. It either needs to be stretchy like the skirt or a bit bigger.

Like a previous reviewer I am a size 18 and couldn't get anywhere near the zip closing. Hugely disappointed as this was going on holiday with me next week - now I can't find a size 20 anywhere.

Very disappointed with this skirt, so have returned it. Certainly wasn't at all up to usual Marks & Spencer quality. Far too small. I have bought much cheaper skirts & they were much better quality. Very surprised at Marks & Spencer selling anything like this.

Sizing Issues

it is a lovely skirt. However, I am normally a size 18. this skirt was so small the button came off when trying it on, so unable to return. I am going to order another one in a size 20 but fear the hips maybe too big. I am not sure would recommend the skirt to friends. I was really disappointed.

I am normally a size 14 but in this skirt had to have a 16, strangely, it measures the same as all my 14's?! Sizing issues again. Yes, the description is wrong as mine is lined too. It also doesn't hang properly from the bottom of the zip where it puckers, maybe due to the lining not fitted correctly....and should the lining be there anyway?! Bit puzzled really, as I bought the cinnamon version at the same time which DOESN'T have a lining and it's the same price!! Such a shame, could have been a beautiful skirt.

Bought the light colour, it has a sheen to it which I like. In size 14 it comes just below the knee and is a little snug - I'm 5'6" and a 14 -16. The description is incorrect - mine does have a lining.

i liked the colour and the stretchy cotton fabric. I'm a petite size 8 and the sizing was right, but somehow it didn't hang well. I didn't want to return it as if have used it a lot, but it constantly creased across my (flat) tummy so it had to go back. More surprising as it was stretchy.

Summer skirt

Ordered this skirt online, which showed it as a WHITE pencil skirt. Amazed to find out, on arrival that it was Beige. Not what I wanted or ordered, so returned. M&S do not have a white tailored skirt in any of their stores it seems.
