About this style
A great everyday essential, this built up shoulder cotton rich vest is perfect as a base layer for any look, or just for lounging in comfort. Made of a cotton mix that has been compact spun for great resistance to fading and bobbling, this wide strap vest has added stretch to give comfy wear and a flattering fit. All of the cotton for our clothing is sustainably sourced and always will be.
Please don’t worry if the packaging name looks a little different, it’s still the same colour, our packaging just takes a little longer to update. Opaline formerly know an Almond.

Nice quality vest
The material in these vests is really nice, with a good stretch to fit. I prefer the wider shoulders personally and would always look for that feature. They are just long enough so they don’t ride up. The 4stars are because they are slightly low cut

I bought several in size 20 and they are a great fit around the body but as I’d expect a vest to keep my chest warm during the winter I’m finding that on this size for me the straps are too long.

Very nice to wear. Breathable fabric that is warm but not too hot. The vest is close fitting and long enough to tuck in to waistband. Built up just means straps are not spaghetti thin!

Strange smell

I ordered these to replace brilliant but aged vests from Marks. The new ones are very cheap, but feel quite thin and flimsy. The worst thing about them is the strong smell of chemicals they have. I’m hoping it goes as they are comfortable.

In the past I have purchased all of my vests from Marks and Spencer so during lockdown I ordered these which were similar to my light greyribbed ones. These feel cheap, thin and have too much stretch in them to feel warm so am returning.
