Contrast Strap Dispatch Bag

I got this for my husband as a surprise at Christmas to replace a similar canvas one that he had for years and was becoming quite shabby. He is delighted with this and uses it rather than a briefcase which would be quite formal. I had my reservations about the contrasting colours on the strap but it looks good and is very functional with several pockets to separate phone, tablet, documents, pens etc. Very happy with this purchase.

Nice bag, but a bit too narrow for me.

I ordered this one in particular because I liked the style and it advertised having a zipped pocket. I was disappointed to find that it doesn't have the zip pocket like it says online. The bag is of good quality and I haven't had any problems with it. The only thing I would say is that since there is no zip to keep it shut and it fastens with poppers, you have to close them which can be difficult with anything wider than a couple of books. As soon as you try to put say a water bottle in, the bag won't close because the poppers don't reach anymore. Overall I would say it is a great bag for someone just taking it to work with a laptop and maybe some documents but for anything more it would struggle to hold it.

I have been looking for a new "Man bag" for a while,I'm not what you would call an impulsive buyer,and after looking at what other stores had to offer,i settled for this.I have to disagree with the reviewer who said it was cheap looking,I can assure you it is not,The strap looks great and is very strong,I'm not a big fan of leather products,so this suited me perfectly,the interior is also well made,and the bag has a pleasing finish throughout.I bought this in store so was able to compare it to the real leather bags that were sitting alongside it,and in my opinion this bag looked a lot better,If black is not your thing,it is also available in brown,my only gripe(and it is a small one) is the lack of an internal zipped compartment,apart from that a very nice bag,and it is worth its price tag.well done M&S.

I bought this bag on-line. I wish I hadn't! The size and interior finish of the bag was good but, overall, it looked cheap and nasty. I wish I had bought my husband a dispatch bag in canvas or splashed out on a leather one instead.

I bought this as a christmas present for my vegan boyfriend, he's starting a new job in January and I knew he'd struggle to find a smart-looking satchel that wasn't leather. I chose this bag after seeing the non-leather briefcase and found the quality to be rather cheap. The material for this one is probably the best non-leather I've come across, it is durable, looks expensive, and like real leather. The price is great for what it delivers. The size is perfect, lots of room for a laptop and notepads, and separate pockets for phone/pens etc. Most cheaper satchels on the market just have one 'cavity', whereas this has a padded pocket for the laptop. Fingers crossed he'll like it!
