Checked Wide Leg Trousers

Wide leg trousers take some getting used to after all the skinnies, but these are just right. They look surprisingly slimming and cool with a black pollo neck sweater and brogue type shoes.

Very nice fit, lovely trousers. I was a bit unsure that I wasn't tall enough to pull them off, but look great with heels. I also bought the slim fit style.

These trousers are a very good fit (I am a standard size 14). My complaint is that the length I had to send for was short as the regular are far too long, I am 5" 5 inches tall but do not want to wear stiletto heels being an older lady. I like the style and can get different looks with different colour tops.

The trousers were much too long (my height 5ft) although I had ordered my usual size medium. The heavy black check pattern was unflattering to my shape so I had to return them.

I find it very hard to find trousers to fit my waist and my hip/bum area. These fit perfectly! Snug around the waist but not pulling tight across my bum. They look so classy and timeless. I've had so many compliments already. Highly recommend.

These are a lovely fitting pair of trousers and worth the money. Unfortunately I had to return mine because one leg seemed to be sewn slightly twisted. Will try and buy another pair.

Size good fit although the short length is still to long but easy to take up. Great for casual or smart as you can dress it up. Lovely soft material and comfortable to wear.

The model in the pictures is 5'7'',then she must be wearing extra short! These trousers are a lovely design, but oh so long. I am 5'9' size 12, and even regular length (which I would never ordinarily buy) are inches too long on me. What a shame.

A lot of people who have reviewed these trousers obviously missed the part of the product description which states "Product Length: Super long" ... they are designed to be worn with heels so buy your normal length and you won't be disappointed. Regular length is usually just slightly short for me and I would normally buy a long to wear with heels, but these Regulars are a perfect length to wear with my boots.

I am generally pleased with these . However despite buying the short length I still had to cut three inches off the bottom!!! I am 5' 2"

Again rather roomy around the waist and a bit long although I ordered short. They look good and will go well with a ribbed top tucked in

Loved the trousers but unfortunately at least 2 ins to long and to alter them would change their appearance , I fear will have to return them and choose from petite range although choice is then limited .

I am 5ft 2in and usually need a shorter length trouser. I wanted these and another pair in a short length but the store didn't have them so I tried a very similar style in the shop to check the length was ok and then I ordered these trousers in the same size at home. I was really disappointed when they arrived as they are at least 4 inches too long!!! I expect a little variation from style to style but not 4 inches! Complete waste of my time and I won't be ordering anything from M&S again.

Bought these trousers last week and I'm really pleased with them.Material is really soft with a good amount of stretch and they won't crease.Fit is true to size,ideally I would like the waist to sit slightly higher but that's perhaps because I'm a pear shape and quite tall!I would definately buy these in other colours.
