No, I don't recommend this
I found this coat was very small sizing for my son. It's a lovely print but it was a real fight to try it on him and when it was on it just about zipped up and he only had a baby grow underneath. He is 8 months and it was 9-12 months. The next size wasn't suitable a small the arms were far too long

I brought this coat for my great grandson we did not get any mittens with the coat as you state in your advert here We hope it will fit as I got it for a Christmas for him
