SUMMER OUTFIT IDEAS:
EASY LINEN LOOKS

Sunshine-ready outfits to see you through the season, from versatile linen dresses and shirts to wide-leg trousers and shorts

Discover our linen dresses

Nothing says summer style like an easy-breezy linen dress. Thanks to linen’s cooling, moisture-wicking properties, it’s the ideal fabric to wear on hot sticky days if you want to look sharp. Linen fabric gets softer and more pliable through washing and wearing, and ours is machine washable too, so it’s super easy to take care of. Make an impact in this floral Per Una dress. Voluminous sleeves, tiered maxi skirt, and bold monochromatic florals add some drama, making it perfect for summer events. Equally, it’s light and airy enough to be worn for work on hot days. We’re wearing ours with these espadrille leather sandals and a statement necklace. Summer style, sorted.

Linen shirts and sun tops are a summer must-have

Be heatwave-ready with blouses and sun tops made from linen. An embroidered blouse is a summer style staple: contrast the feminine detailing with jeans or denim shorts. Pair with white trousers on days when the mercury soars for a stylish but comfortable look. An oversized linen shirt is part of our warm weather wardrobe every year. Make it a boyfriend shirt that can be worn tucked in or out, unbuttoned over a vest top or tee, or layered under a sleeveless knitted vest on chillier days. A billowing linen shirt also makes a sophisticated beach cover-up, perfect for keeping shoulders out of the midday sun. A linen popover blouse is handy for lazy hot days – we like the pink striped version but it’s also available in white, navy, and chambray.

Try a softer take on tailoring

The tailoring trend shows no signs of waning this summer. Simply swap structured styles for softer, slouchier blazers and jackets made from linen. Go for light colours and neutrals like cream and white to stop tailoring from feeling too formal and restrictive in warm weather. Dressing for work in the summer can be tricky: try a linen suit for a look that’s both smart and comfortable. A pair of wide-leg linen trousers worn with a matching blazer will see you through the season in style and can be dressed up or down for any occasion. On the stickiest days (we all remember last year’s record temperatures) our pure linen shorts will remain breathable and second skin soft.
