Slim Fit Trousers
No, I don't recommend this
I was expecting the slim fit trousers to be a slimmer fit in width on the leg, however these were still baggy around the thigh.

Boys pleat front slim fit trousers
Yes, I recommend this
Very good fit on waist and hips. Great able to lengthen them. But every time I buy my Grandson's trousers I have to shorten them so it would be great if they did come in a small selection of inside leg length. He is already in the next size up before I have to lengthen them.

Too small waist
No, I don't recommend this
Bought this one (size7-8) on 3 months ago and now to tight on my boy waist (7 years old) even didn't put the extend button on! He's very standard size for M&S but this trouser is too tight so quick on his waist now!! so we go back the same one with straigt legs and same size, it's better! they got some more room allow my boy to grow up, and long time for changing a new one. Don't want skinny or slim fit anymore as he love to run around, skiing on his knee.

Boys' Slim Fit Trousers - Grey
Yes, I recommend this
These trousers fit my boys perfectly. However, why are they so hard to get hold of in grey.? I have been waiting for them to come into stock since July 2016 and I'm very disappointed to report that I have had to go 'elsewhere' to find slim fit school trousers which, may I add, are far less superior. Please can you let me know if I'll be able to purchase these ahead of them going back into shorts???

School Trousers
Yes, I recommend this
The newer styles seem to be a lighter material than the older ones which worried me as I don't think they will last long term but M&S school trousers are the only trousers that work for my x2 13 year olds who have no waist or bottom!

Poor quality - disappointed!
No, I don't recommend this
Bought several pairs of these at the beginning of September for my very slim 6 year old, and two pairs already have holes at the knee - they didn't even last 1/2 a term. I have bought these trousers before and they lasted beautifully for 2+ years with lots of washing & tumble drying and no holes or tears, but these last pairs are obviously of much poorer quality. A real shame, as they are the only school trousers I've found that don't swamp my son. Would no longer recommend.

Too baggy
No, I don't recommend this
These trousers did not suit my very slim 8 year old. They were baggy at the front and the inside button was too stiff and a proper faff. I prefer the flat front trousers.

Favourite school trousers for my son
Yes, I recommend this
I ordered several pairs of school trousers for my son and these I felt were the best. They feel lovely quality and fit really well on his slim legs. They look very smart and comfortable and no fuss with no zip fly just pull on and up. I've now bought a few pairs in this style.

Excellent slim fit trousers
Yes, I recommend this
My son is very slim and these trousers are a good fit for his frame. The quality seems good, not too thin. They hang nicely and seem to have plenty of growing room in them. They look very smart. The adjustable waist is handy too even on the slim fit we used this to improve the fit. Don't know about wear yet as they are for the start of the new school year. But look good do far.

Tough school trousers!
Yes, I recommend this
I used to buy supermarket school trousers, as my boys seem to wear them out so quickly, until I tried a pair of these. We found them to be a nicer fit and look smarter, despite being washed, tumble dried and worn much more. Now they are the only ones I buy. They have not shown any signs of wear and no knees have been ripped! These might actually be grown out of, before being worn out...great for hand-me-downs!

Great fit - good quality and price
Yes, I recommend this
I ordered the normal fit school trousers as we'll as the slim fit, meaning to return the ones were not such a good fit. The slim fit was a perfect fit, but he is very slim. The normal fit was too baggy on the hips and legs. However, when I buy for his older brother, who is not so slim, the normal fit/straight leg is perfect. The quality is excellent, and he likes the fact that there are quite a few pockets and that the waist is adjustable so he does not need a belt. They are also great at retaining the crease which keeps them looking smarter and they need only a very light touch with the iron, if at all.

best trousers for boys
Yes, I recommend this
my son is so active, lots of falling downs etc, these are best trousers. After whole year of wearing i can give them to someone else to wear, at they are like new! no rips after 1 year of wearing them. This style they dont have a button at the front anymore, just adjust them and go! even better. so pleased with them. suitable for winter also, as some trousers i find are just too thin.

New trews
Yes, I recommend this
Son is slim and has worn these trousers before. Good quality, great value with extendable hem. First pairs lasted a full school year and into next year. Wash well and still look good as new after that time, so much so passing on to a friend for her son! Bought new pairs as he is stretching in height and growing at waist. Son likes slim fit styling. He is hard on his trousers, lots of sport at break times but these sturdy enough to last the pace. I recommend these trousers.

Lovely fitting trousers. My little boy is slender so the slim fit is perfect. They look so smart, I'm going to get another pair!

Great for smaller boys
Yes, I recommend this
Our little one is fairly short (we buy him the size below his age) and these are the only trousers which do not swamp him. The idea of letting the hem down is great too - made the trousers last for ages!
