Abstract Print Coat

A wonderful jacket, that can take you out. You can dress it up or wear it over jeans. Just love it

This will be an excellent addition to my wardrobe for slightly cooler summer and autumn days

This coat is fabulous (if you're daring enough to wear it!) Yes, it is big, but if like me, you like the oversized look, you'll love standing out in a crowd and being the envy of the room in it!

I really loved this when I saw it on line. However when it arrived it was not at all suitable. Neither the print or the shape and fit we're suitable for me. I think a tall, elegant lady would look a million dollars in it.

I have yet to wear it - waiting for a cooler day. I did have to get the bigger size. It felt that due to my height (or lack of) it was probably sitting in the wrong place so I needed the bigger size for my derriere. It means it is quite a loose fit but on the plus side I can wear it over warm clothes when the weather is colder.

I liked this coat and it looked super worn over a plain black top and trousers. Unfortunately that was all it looked good with so I reluctantly had to return it.

Good summer coverup. Useful with trousers or a dress. Works surprisingly with other patterned outfits.

I love zany coats, and this is just perfect. Easy to wear and so versatile, smart or casual. Light yet warm. Looking forward to wearing it lots & lots.

i was drawn to this the instant I spotted it in store, fabric is quite amazing for M and S! I have the plain cream jacquard long jacket in same brand and it fits well but this....I just wonder 'what is this meant to look like??' its HUGE. such a waste of a nice fabric. yes, it will be one for the sale rails I think.

Looked so striking in the ad in last weekend supplement that I ordered right away - in 2 sizes, so that I had a choice and did not miss it ... but SO disappointing! The fabric pattern is great and at good price. However the fit is awful, vast and unflattering, even in the smaller of the 2 sizes. Not a good shape - such a shame given the great-looking fabric. They will be returned - except there was no order paperwork enclosed whatever!!! (sent with another item in a carton). So that's another phone call to resolve the matter.

I really liked the striking look of this jacket but was so disappointed when it arrived. The material was too thick and bulky and not a nice texture. It would have been lovely in 100% cotton, just right for the summer. I sent for a small fit, I am 12/14 but the jacket was far too big for me and although the design of the jacket is meant to be a loose overlarge fit because of the heavy material it wasn't right at all and I felt swamped in it. I am afraid I had to return it immediately.

I saw the coat on Megan from Mad Men on the front of Stylist and knew I had to have it. I love black and white print. To be honest, it's a bit more yellow than all the images, it's also not that great quality but it's not OTT expensive and I love the print. Well done M&S, you converted someone who never ever shops with you apart from the occasional lunch or undies!

I don't expect to get this review printed, as I have found recently that anything I write a bad review about does not get onto the reviews. This coat is completely shapeless, with just one button, I am usually a size 10/12 but this even in the size 8 was far to big. The material is like a starched tapestry, I dread to think of what it will be like if it ever needs cleaning. I had to take it back, I think a lot of these will be ending up in the sales.
