Pure Linen Flared Skirt

I ordered this in white size 12, expecting from the video to get a skirt which fits neatly on the waist and on the knee. The main skirt below the yoke is cut on the bias which makes it nicely flippy. However the yoke is also a problem as it is double around the hips, with the inside layer made of a thin muslin-type linen which is already lying in folds and tucks before washing or wearing. Another problem is the waist measures 34” although M&S say size12 fits a 29”waist – that’s 5” spare on a supposedly close fitting waist! meanwhile the hips are snug (measuring 40" for 39" size 12 hips). In white, this skirt is fairly see-thru and the thin fabric seems to crease easily. The description should say the skirt has a zip and measures 22” long ( which may be a little short for knee length). Overall its unwearable for me, and is going back.
