A/W Coat
Yes, I recommend this
Lovely coat, too heavy. I have returned it. Needed it to be lighter weight and I definitely would have purchased it. Would like this in camel/cream or brown in lighter material

Mum thought it was a dressing gown!
No, I don't recommend this
It is a lot thinner than I expected. Definitely an Autumn rather than a winter coat. But nicely styled, and the light grey side is really nice

Awful coat - very disappointed!
No, I don't recommend this
I ordered this coat on line and was so looking forward to getting it. I have a dressing gown at home which is better quality and thicker than this. Definitely not worth £99. Poor quality and fit. Not up to the usual M & S standards.

LOVE, LOVE THIS COAT
Yes, I recommend this
For me this coat answered everything I wanted: Comfortable, easy to wear. Love the versatility of being able to reverse it depending on my mood and choice of other clothing. It is NOT a thick, heavy coat, which some people might not like, but I love the fact that I can layer underneath according to the weather, but not feel weighed down by it. Very simple and elegant - I have had many compliments on it over the last week. Looks great with grey tights and black patent ankle boots. I am 5ft 6" and the length was perfect for me.

Not nice

This is one of the worst offerings in M & S at the moment - it is truly abysmal in all respects. Thin, cheap man-made fabric, plastic trims, baggy and shapeless, no warmth.....

Cheap looking version of a classic
No, I don't recommend this
This reversible look with a leather (faux) trim has been around for the last 5 decades - usually based on the classic Wetherall design. Regret to say that this is pale by comparison effort, the fabric which is mainly man made lacks body and weight, my first reaction to seeing this on was that it was too close for comfort to looking like a dressing gown. Most unflattering on all but the pin thin and hugely overpriced. Did not like the plastic edging as they always wear badly and do not like dry cleaning fluid. Not for me as M&S has plenty of better efforts than this.

Sorry, but i thought this looked like an expensive dressing gown. So returned it.

versatile coat
Yes, I recommend this
Absolutely adore this coat. Very versatile, two looks in one and fits much better than I thought it would. It looks very much like a much more expensive Donna Karan coat that would set you back considerably more. Fabric is nice and soft two and you have two coats in one. Will wear this a lot and very flattering. Looks lovely with the snakeskin dress and far nicer than the much hyped pink duster coat which I also ordered and returned. I much preferred this and less likely to date.
