My tall 13 year old son has just started to show an interest in what her wears so therefore wanted the skinny look rather than a more traditional trouser. Awesome trouser for school, able to withstand a very untidy teenager without ironing!!!! Had to go bigger as he wont wear them on his waist where they are supposed to be but if worn in the right place i would say true to size. Thanks M&S

My son isn't too bothered how he looks (much to our consternation!) but I convinced him to try these trousers and he likes them and they look really smart, trendy and improve his school uniform attire tremendously. My twelve year old needed some new school trousers as his age 10 were getting a bit tatty and he hasn't grown into his age eleven yet!!! He wanted skinny jeans type and I thought these would be ok as not too skinny. Ordered age eleven which just fitted and age twelve which are a bit roomy. Has a vey useful elastic waist to make a good fit. My son is very happy with the style. Would have been even better if they'd have had a zipped back pocket like his old school pants. Yet to wash.

My son is 15 but a little on the small side. I ordered him a size 14 pair of these and they are little on the large-waisted side with no elastic to pull-in so he has to wear a tight belt. I am sure he will grow into them. However the length and style are perfect and he's really happy with them. I like the M&S options of the slim leg as they are all he wants to wear at the moment.

My son requested that I purchase these again for him, he has other designs and makes of school trouser, however, these are his favourite and was insistant that I purchase again. He loves the straight leg look They wash well, easy to iron, and wear reasonably well considering my son is very hard on his knees. They do look smart on, and they still have the adjustable waistline.

My son doesn't like what he refers to as trousers that will flap in the wind! These trousers are modern yet smart - the material is of good quality and the extra material on the hem has given us an few months wear! We have had these in an age 14, 15 and now just received age 16. Its a shame all sizes are not in stock all year round.

After much searching for the perfect pair of school trousers for son starting secondary school found these and am delighted. I was finding other style trousers either too baggy, too shiny, too short, too tight from waist. This ticked all the boxes for tall son went up two sizes and they look exceptionally smart are great quality with growing room. Highly recommend.

I BOUGHT THESE TROUSERS IN DECEMBER 2012, BUT THEY ARE NOT THE SAME, HOW DISAPPOINTING, WHAT HAPPENED TO 04841098 THEY WERE MUCH BETTER IN QUALITY AND FIT, SO ANNOYING REALLY
