I am surprised how comfortable this is It has helped to make a clinging dress look good I do think it is a little too expensive.

I'm so pleased with this - it irons out those little lumps which are in the wrong place. Great under a slinky dress and no muffin top with jeans. Unlike some shapewear, it's comfy and stays put, I may have to buy another as I won't want to be without it. A lighter shade would be useful.for wear with lighter coloured garments.

I wanted to try this as I prefer to wear my own bra. I had in the past purchased the "all in one". I found it small made but ordered bigger size, and very comfortable, look forward to having an hour glass figure over the party season!

I was really hoping this body would work as I have had trouble with 'muffin tops' when I wear jeans or skirts and I have odd spare tyre that needs hiding! I found it reasonable to get on, wasn't sure if it was to come up or over the head, but it did come up with a bit of a squeeze, once in position it was very comfortable, no VPL as the legs are very smooth, body length was good for me. I am between a 12 and 14 so ordered both, only tried on the 14. As the body concentrates on the waist and tummy I found the softness around the bottom area gave a very natural look. Whilst it improved my shape by smoothing out the lumpy bits it is not a miracle maker! I really liked the quality and finish, would also like to have another in either white or neutral.

Very pleased with this having tried numerous different types of control wear! Let's be realistic ladies...I'm a size 16...and I still am wearing this! It's not going to perform miracles and suddenly make you a size 12! But what it does do is smooth all the wobbly bits and give you a slinkier silhouette that makes me feel comfortable wearing a dress or a tight fitting top. Some things I like about it: Because this goes up to your rib cage there is no pinching or unsightly roles where the garment stops (as in fat pants!) :) It is really smooth around the bottom and really is no VPL. I have a long torso and still find this fits comfortably, which I struggle with in the traditionally bodies with bras built in. It's so much prettier than any other control wear I've ever had...being black with the lace detail on the back and panels at the front it's a lot sexier than the 'nude suck you in at all costs passion killers' we've become accustomed too! Would highly recommend.

I purchased this item based on a magazine article and the online reviews. It met my expectations. It is true to size, good quality and a pretty design. It wasn't too tricky to get into, gave me a lovely smooth silhouettte and wasn't too restricting, although refastening the poppers was a bit difficult - but it was worth it, to wear my gorgeous dress!
