I purchased these thinking aged 13-14 short will fit my 11 year old who tall but unfortantly the length was fine but waist didn't look good way to baggy! My mistake would of been better if I had orderd 11 yrs old in long length but overall quality was good price was good

My daughter is 14yrs and tall (180cm). Waited for these to become available for some months. The 15-16yrs extra-long length is just right - especially with the adjustable waist ( a must for her). Would be great if other clothes were available for tall children. She is happy with them.

We ordered 3 pairs of school trousers for my daughter to try and had to buy these as they were the only ones (only just) long enough (she is 13, tall and skinny). We search endlessly for school trousers - if the waist fits they are too short and if the length is right the waist is too big, and adjustable waists 'gather' which she dislikes. She preferred the fit of the other two skinny styles we ordered but they only came in one length and finished above her ankle! Please could more skinny styles be produced in an extra long length as the hunt for school trousers is very frustrating.

My 14 year old is tall and normal build. These trousers, in the extra long age 14/15, are perfect for her. They don't have too many buttons (one pair involved three buttons) and aren't hipsters - just reasonably stylish yet practical school trousers. They wash well and you can get away with not ironing them if you shake them out before drying. Take care with length when ordering, standard length are on a different entry to short/long and extra long.

These trousers are excellent quality and fit perfectly. Only thing I would say is be careful when ordering the length as I initially ordered LONG in error - there is no drop down for you to choose the size so you need to ensure you select the correct item initially from the front page.

I had to re-order 5/6yrs extra long to fit a slim 8yr old. find these very big love the style but the 2 pairs I was sent were different, one had button and zip where as the other did not just a plain waistband but both had adjustable elastic waist at the back. material is not thick more of a summer trouser really but nice if you can get the fit right

school clothes seem to be getting bigger like they are made for larger kids rather than standard sizes so great to get these trousers in slim fit My 12yr old slim daughter wears size 10-11yrs but we still need to use the waist adjustments Great to have the long length so they're not ankle swingers
