Cotton Rich Straight Leg Chinos

I had high hopes for these chinos. They fit well when trying on, nice high waist to hold in my muffin top. Loved the slim leg look....BUT After wearing for less than half a day, they resembled panama trousers - admittedly I was out and about with a preschooler - but even so, a couple of extra loo trips and shoe fastenings shouldn't equal quite such baggy trousers They will shrink back with washing, but this annoys me.

I love the colour and the feel of the chinos. In honesty, I'd rather a wider fit around the hem; they feel a little bit like 'skinny' jeans but the photo shows this accurately. Having bought the size 8, it is large around the waist (but not massive) but far too big around the bottom. I've taken them back and ordered the size 6.....

My online order for trousers was delivered promptly to my local M@S Simply Food store - a huge convenience. The trousers are really good quality material, well finished and they fit so comfortably - I love them! Thank you M@S!

Nothing like the fit of the summer chinos, miles too big waist, hip and tops of legs, miles too small on lower legs ??? Returned straight away.

The material feels lovely but the styling is much larger across hips and thighs than other M&S trousers I have. I can only think that the model has them 'pinned' at the back as they definitely do have this fitted shape on me and I'm not a size8 model. More a size 14 granny! If I had more time might have re-ordered in smaller size.
