Pure Cotton Broderie Prom Dress with Belt

I liked everything about this dress, excellent styling ,good fit etc. except for one thing. the nylon lining made it very hot and sweaty and as I wanted a dress for my holiday I had to return it.

I was pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped the dress. It is well made of lovely material, and it certainly won't crease. The picture on the website doesn't do it justice. It is much prettier than the picture! Thank you M&S.

An excellent dress - soft red and white broderie anglaise, fully lined, and with lots of body so it hangs and moves beautifully - quite swishy in the skirt. Perfect dressed up with a jacket and heels for a formal event, or with sandals and a cropped cardigan for more casual events. It should have had side pockets in the skirt - but otherwise a wonderful dress - much more summery than fitted or wrap styles.

I bought this dress for a family wedding and it's perfect. It fits beautiful - I am a typical pear shape so the cut and style of the dress is very flattering for my shape. After the wedding I am sure it will become a much loved and much worn dress, just can't believe I have to wait until May to wear it. The fabric is quite thick as described so will be ideal for the cooler summer / autumn days this country is famous for. More dresses like this please, I love it.
