I bought some of these bras about 18 months ago (black/white). I loved them - the sizing is perfect, the shape is great and they wash really well. I loved them so much, I ordered some more recently. All great, (size etc) but I can't stand the smell - reminiscent of a fire at a tyre factory! It's overwhelming and gets worse when they're worn/warm. I've tried all wash treatments known to man and nothing works. So I've now got to return another set to the store (I'm on set no. 2). I can't be the only one to notice this smell, surely? It has to be something to do with the manufacturing process - maybe the way the foam rubber is moulded? Hope M&S change their manufacturer - soon!!

Disappointing purchase

I regret having to make a disappointing review but on this occasion I feel that the online description of the 2 pack underwired padded T-shirt bras wasn't quite accurate, as when they were delivered they were described as "plunging". I wouldn't have ordered them if that adjective had been added to the description. When I returned them to my nearest store, I could see from the display that there are 3 designs - plunging, balcony and full cup. I thought when ordering online that the bras would be full cup and I think in future the description should include the type of fit that is being supplied.

I have been buying these bras for years. They are my fail safe option, they work with anything and easily adjustible with strap solutions to go under low cut dresses etc. They give great shape, cant be seen under clothes and are so comfortable. Im a 34F and find it difficult to get bras with slimmer straps that still give support - these do it well. They fit perfectly everytime and are an absolute bargain!! If these were available with a little detailing, or in more colours I would have them all. Perfect bra day to day.

This bra fits well for the large breasts and I find very comfortable. Probably last about 4 months if put in the washing machine so hand wash best.

At £16 for two bras, these are excellent value. The quality is good and it does what it says; no show under your clothes. It gives excellent support, even for the larger sizes! On a negative (which affected the overall score) is in relation to comfort. The width of the straps on these new bras are smaller, compared to the tee-shirt bras I purchased from M & S in the past, making them less comfortable to wear over the course of a day. I am of larger size and felt the straps began to dig into my shoulders.They also have less elastication in the straps and therefore has less flexibility, compared to the previous ones, which I feel also effects its feel and comfort. I hope that M & S will look at the issues of comfort and not compromise this in the future in the drive for 'value' products. Overall good but the previous ones were much more comfortable . . .

I got these in the white/nude mix for wearing under my uniform and they are perfect. I would normally buy a back size larger but they were out of my size, they fit fine I just use the first hooks instead. Cup size is true to size, personally I prefer a wider strap but these don't move or slip like I find many others do so that is a bonus! Overall a good basic pair of bras for a great price.

I've been wearing 32D for years and always thought they were small but no shop ever had any bigger. Had a look on m&s and decided to give it a shot (what can I loose). I was surprised to find I'm actually a 32E and the bras were an amazingly comfortable fit! Never buying underwear from anywhere else now!

Good comfy fit, very good every day bra. My only down point would be the stitching where the strap first joins the cup needs to be a bit stronger - I have had to restitch the first few stitches. Wouldn't stop me buying another one.

I first went in for a 32DD but found out I needed an E cup.....this bra worked wonders. Made me feel amazing and confident in everything I wore them with. I ended up getting the nude/white & blk/white. I can now bow down in confidence knowing NOTHING will spill out...lol And the padding is just right.

These are the best bras I have had in along time The assistant who helped me at the Burton On Trent shop was most helpful her name was Linda and she was excellent please give her a pat on the back she really does deserve it .I had travelled over from Spain and as usual head for M&S.Linda measured me and fitted the bra's for me
