Have only tried these on so far but they look very smart and in my case fit perfectly. The active waist is very comfortable giving room for a little expansion when seated. Altogether, a great buy.

Good fit and quality and pleased with the £30 sale tag as opposed to the normal £40 price. My opinion is that they are value for money at £30 but not at £40 although you would probably pay normal price dependent on your requirements. However I do believe that M&S clothes at the moment are slightly over priced. Perhaps the strategy is to sell as many as they can at the normal price but equally in a sale situation can boost not only their sales targets but gain from good PR - example its a nice feeling to say "you have bagged a bargain"!

These are formal trousers and they feel as such. The fit on the waist and leg length is good, if a little tight around my thighs and calves. The material seems of good quality and just a little scratchy compared to cotton casual trousers, but that probably isn't a fair comparison. All in all a reasonable purchase and I'll probably shop in M&S for work trousers again.
