Cotton Rich Lace Print Striped Pencil Skirt

This skirt is going to be very useful to add a little character to black or white tops, and with a black jacket for meetings, going out more formally in the daytime etc.

Bear in mind I bought at sale price... Good fit, and length (to the knee and I'm 5'9). Nice quality cotton - not too thin. For someone who really doesn't like girly-girly clothes, this is not too floral and feminine a pattern, and will look excellent with a black blazer and power heels.

I agree with a previous reviewer who also criticized the lining. The one I bought had the lining puckered around the vent at the back slit (I didn't notice until I got it home). It's OK now as it's new and pressed but I suspect once it is worn and washed I will never be able to iron the lining back into place correctly and therefore it will be returned. Horrible cheap cotton lining too, skirts like this need a silky lining and it needs to be correctly fitted. A shame though because the skirt is very eye catching in stylish fabric.

I bought some articles of clothing from Marks and Spencer whilst in London and Paris recently. They are an excellent fit, good quality and fantastic value for money. I have since ordered 4 more skirts online and they only took 5 days to arrive in Australia!! Now, that's service!

Initially I was delighted when this skirt arrived, it has such good reviews. That is until I tried it on, the fit was great, as one reviewer mentioned a bit big in the waist, but the real problem was the stitching of the lining. It was not aligned correctly with the zip and skirt material,and therefore the skirt puckered up from waist to just below the zip. It was really noticeable on my rear when on, I would try another item if I was certain it was just a 'one off mistake', but postage from here is so expensive- $17 to return this skirt,- that I cannot risk it.
