Wax Parka with Cord Collar

Bought this online as reviews looked good, but found that the material was flimsy unlike a real wax jacket with no padding, so could only really wear in a warmer season, took back for a refund.

Superb jacket however sleeves too long. My wife managed to unpick and take off the cuffs, cut off 50mm (2") of sleeve and sow the cuffs back on. Don't think I've got short arms as all other M&S cloths seem to fit OK. Apart from that very pleased with the jacket especially as I bought it in the recent sale so very good value.

I have ordered three coats recently from M&S and not one has born any resemblance to the size guide. this latest item was even smaller than a Large that i had previously returned even though it was supposed to be next size up. I was particularly annoyed as all three orders placed were potentially Christmas surprises for my Son, all of which fell flat. Disappointed to say the least!

This was soo disappointing. I thought at last I had found the coat I wanted. But no. Poor show M&S.

Super modern interpretation of the classic wax style jacket - although not wax coated , which i personally prefer, no waxy car seats!! I wanted the jacket to be tailored in style so went for the size down , but its your preference... may need to try various sizes before purchase, otherwise Good attention to detail in the collar , zip, and back studded vents. Quality and construction appears fine although time with only tell - really happy with this classic style jacket which accommodates of the seasons , great addition to the wardrobe.

It looks better than in picture online as depicted, the black corduroy collar offsets the blue. Lots of detail with a loop zipper. Plaid lining and can be worn on warm days.
