La Rose Eau de Parfum 50ml

I love rose perfume so decided to try this one, not at all what i expected, thought it would be more floral, has a more "woody" fragrance, but i am finding that each time i use it i am begining to like it more. nice packaging.

A very feminine fragrance for those who love rose colognes and perfumes . I found it to be long lasting . A soft flower fragrance which reminded me of the simple fragrances of the fifties . A perfect daytime fragrance .

If you're hoping for the smell of roses, as I was, you'll be really disappointed. One reviewer said it smells old fashioned and she was right. It smells of Tweed, if any of you out there are old enough to remember that smell. You get the odd whiff of roses in the same why that you used to do when you made "perfume" out of rose petals and water when you were a kid. The packaging is really nice, and it looks really expensive but I bought this blind, so to speak, because there were no testers available. Serves me right, I suppose. If you want a nice rose fragrance in nice packaging, try Fragonard, which I bought for my daughter but didn't want to copy. At least it didn't cost an arm and a leg, but the fact you can't do exchanges on fragrances, means that it's still a waste of money, because I won't be wearing it again. I'm wearing it now and it's not nice, I'm afraid. Shame.

I have bought this as a Christmas Gift so have not tried it myself.But the presentation is excellent.

I was expecting great things from this perfume, but I am really disappointed. I don't mean to offend anyone who likes this but, on me, it smells cheap and old fashioned...it's actually quite unpleasant. It's certainly not the pretty rose scent that I was hoping for. I suppose that the whole process is flawed when buying these perfumes, as they aren't available in any of my local stores, so I just had to hope for the best. I will be sticking with the Floral Collection Rose pefume in future; it's a far, far prettier scent!

I love Miller Harris scent but usually only get it as a treat as it is pricey (but gorgeous) and therefore read the article about this new range with interest. The scent doesn't disappoint. Pleasingly Rose but with the complex back-notes I associate with Miller Harris goodies. Fab!!

The packaging is lovely and attractive. The perfume bottle is well designed and just the right size to keep on show on top of my dressing table. If you are a fan of rose based perfumes then I am sure you will be delighted when you wear this one.

Pretty, authentic aroma of roses. Good value for money. Expensive looking packaging. Nice present to give for xmas.

I love fragrance that's not complicated and doesn't give a headache! This is gorgeous. It smells lovely, and is not overpowering at all. I have received a number of compliments when wearing it, and would highly recommend it.

Thrilled with this purchase. Scent matches description and has great staying power. Can't wait to try the rest of the range. Love it!!!

I bought this my wife for a present and has not been used yet so full comments I cannot make as yet. I think this is quite a coup for Marks and Spencer and to make it available at this price is very good. I have read quite a bit about the Lady Perfumier and she is highly thought of and some of her perfumes when made to special order can be £8,000 so congrats to M&S so it is available to all.

A really oustanding buy. Miller Harris perfumes are usually very expensive indeed. True rose perfumes are hard to come by. So five stars!

I like this but agree it is not particularly 'rosie'. I thought the other ingredients made it far more interesting and a good perfume for day. All a matter of personal taste, like all perfumes, I suppose. Also, found it lasted quite well.
