Good quality slim leg trousers

I am of average height, 5'5" and they are definitely not crop length; rather ankle length. Nice fit for size 6, as I have trouble finding trousers in this size. Non-iron if they're tumble dried. Worst thing is colour bleeding even after 6 washes, don't wash with anything light coloured.

Nice smart/casual option. A bit loose around the top. Would have preferred to be more fitted as belt meant top didn't lie quite so smooth. Washed easily, minimum ironing.

Absolutely love these trousers. The fabric, cut and styling is perfect. They give you a beautiful slim line but are not too skinny as some tend to be. Have just ordered another pair as it may be a while before I find a pair I like as much again! Please M and S more like this in different colours.

I would definitely recommend these trousers. The fit is good although maybe slightly generous - if you are between sizes go for the smaller size. The leather trim really dresses them up making them perfect for work or evening wear.

The material is reasonably heavy with quite a bit of stretch so they feel really comfortable to wear, and even though they are slim leg, there is still plenty of room around the bottom and thigh area. Personally I tend to prefer trousers that sit on the waist, and these are a bit low, but they still fit well. The leather effect waist band makes them a little bit different. They are better value and a better fit (for me) than the trousers in the Autograph range.

I find it very hard to find trousers to fit me as I have a small waist, large thighs and a bottom. These trousers are a lovely fit, very comfortable and they they also look very smart. Also washes well. Great value for money.

I'm 5ft 1 size 8 and have been struggling all year to find a black pair of trousers that fit in length and waist for work. I tried these trousers on and they felt like they were made for me! Lovely quality, slight bit of stretch in them, perfect length. They are suitable for both work and a night out as the waist band glam them up a bit. I think I'll be buying a few more pairs as I'm sure I'll be getting my wear out of this pair! Thanks M&S and please make these trousers in more colours!

Like the smooth silky band at the waist. Adds a formal touch if you wear a blouse tucked in to show the waistband. Normally have a short length but the regular turned out just nice at the ankle for my 5ft 1 inch height. Did not know what 7/8 meant until after I have ordered. Ordered a size 12 which is my normal size. Just a wee bit loose at the waist but didn't mind- room to expand after a full meal!

I have problems with M&S trousers that short is too short and medium is too long but these trousers are fantastic. A medium length is the perfect lenght, although these are 7/8 trousers and not supposed to be normal length by buying them in a medium they fit wonderfully. Would say the sizing is a little large as I have to buy a 10 in M&S and everywhere else I am a 12. Overall lovely looking trouser and I don't think the picture does them justice as it makes the waistband look rather cheap.
