No, I don't recommend this
Purchased in the sale so reasonable value for money. Effectively coloured threat to plait with several charms to attach. Only suitable for 5 yr old is given a lot of support. 7/8 + more age appropriate.

This set is much too hard for the average 5 year old, but would recommend for 8 +. Some of the beads and charms are nice, but the holes in the beads are tiny for a younger child to thread the cotton through. The designs in the book are pretty but quite complicated. The bracelets were nice when made, but all made by adults in the end ! You have to provide your own cotton clip, weaving board and ruler, which luckily I had.

I ultimately bought the produdct as a gift for a little girl for Christmas. She has not recieved it yet,,but from what i can see of it the product looks very good and will give masses of fun.
