7 Denier Bare Cooling Sheer Oiled Tights

As per the other reviews, these tights are absolute rubbish. When I first put them on, they looked really good, giving my legs a healthy sun-kissed glow. However within minutes I could see ladders travelling up the front of both my feet. I tried to turn them over and wear them back to front, only to find that they had laddered elsewhere by the seams. Dreadfully made and a total waste of money. I bought three pairs and will be taking them all back

Admittingly the oiled effect look is good on these tights... for all but 5 minutes until they ladder and fall apart!! I have bought these twice thinking the first time they may have been faulty, but nope the same problem happened both times. As soon as you put them on they start falling apart from the top area and then the ladders spread down the legs (i wear sheer tights all the time, so its not my nails or technique putting them on) For £5 a pop and them lasting 5 minutes if that??? Don't waste your money, luckily i got a refund the second time as was outrage M&S is selling such a product!!!

I have bought several pairs of these tights, they look good but are of very poor quality for the price, each pair have split at the back seem in the same place each time and the split gets bigger and is very uncomfortable

The tights look great on, but fray and split at the back reinforced seam. The splits and holes just get bigger until you have to throw them away. Just can't afford to keep buying them when they only last a couple of wearings.

Really good - look very natural. They have a slight sheen.

The delicate fabric surrounding the reinforced under area quickly comes away making big holes that get bigger throughout the day. Happened to all four pairs that I bought after just one wear. Look nice, feel nice, but they shouldn't only last one day for that price. Very disappointed.

Had to special order these tights. Surprised they were not a stock item.

I've worn these once and they're only fit for the bin. By lunchtime there were tiny ladders going up both feet from the toes and by the time I took them off the top was fraying all along the centre seam - and I always buy a size larger then I am as I can't bear tights to be tight around the waist. Awful qualtiy at any price but at this price I'm actually pretty annoyed. How these got past quality control I'll never know. I'd take them back but I don't like the idea of going to the refund desk with a pair of worn tights, even after I've washed them.

I've used these tights numerous times in the past but this recent pair that I purchased are terrible quality. I wore them to a party for all of 3 hours and when I got home and went to take them off I noticed that they were full of snags and ladders. I expected to get more than one wear out of them for the price I paid. I definitely won't be purchasing them again until M&S sorts the quality out.

I bought in bulk.. 10 pairs, every single pair laddered immediately. such a waste of money. The ladders start at the toe seam, i think the batch were faulty. extremely disappointed. do not buy these.

I must have had a faulty batch they all laddered from the toe seam within 10minutes which was so frustrating as i ordered in bulk due to a hectic business life but each pair laddered before i had even got to the office, sometimes before I had left home. I am reluctant to purchase again as it was a complete waste of my money.

As much as I like these tights, I tend to only get 2 wears out of each pair, at best, before they ladder. The fit is also very strange. In all other M&S tights I wear a medium, yet in these tights I need an XL. Anything smaller and it pretty much rips to shreds before the end of the day - it just doesn't make any sense. They suit my complexion perfectly, but I don't think I will keep buying them as they don't last long enough for me to consider them to be good value.

These tights have a lovely sheen - I would describe them as satin rather than a glossy oiled finish. Natural tan v good colour. However sizing is v small and the lycra content not high enough. I am 5'8 and size 16-18 so I erred on the size of cautin and got the XL size. Gusset was a good 2 inches lower than it should be and it slowly worked it's way down further as I wore them! The seams split and when I tried to gently push the fabric on my legs upwards, they laddered. £5 spent and now in the bin after wearing for an hour!

They look very nice. I bought these many years ago. But I bought this pair in June this year, I've worn them twice, and they came apart at the gusset as it is very thin. I have the size medium even though I am only 5ft 3" and 108 pounds. Would not buy again. Will take back to the store as surely this is supposed to last longer than 2 wears. Plus point: it hasn't laddered.
