eye catching table

we bought the conran whittle table last year( 2013) what really caught mine and my wifes eye was the unique curved base which we had never seen before.we also bought 4 greenwhich chairs which really compliment the table as many of our visitors have commented on .what a superb purchase.

I love our new table I wanted something more contemporary after having our farm house pine table for 10 years! I paired this with calligaris jam chairs and it looks great in our kitchen diner. I would say I'm not sure how long it will last in a busy family kitchen I have had to bleach it a couple of times when something has stained it but its come up fine so far, very good value for the money I looked for months before I saw this and it was 1/4 of the price of others I was comparing it to.

No, I don't recommend this
Although this table is very nice and useful one should be aware that the top is very easily scratched and marked. The surface is not hard enough and the slightest drop by anything will mark and chip it. It is impossible to repair without going to a spray shop and getting it repainted. This is a real problem.

This table is just what I wanted for my conservatory. It seats 6 and because of the central base (which is lovely to look at) there is plenty of room. Excellent for a small space with maximum seating capacity

Delivery service was excellant and the men assembled the table in a short space of time. The table fits comfortably in my kitchen and makes my kitchen look bigger too, This is why I am glad that i bought the table with the added bonus of 20% of the original price..

This table is JUST big enough to be a sensible dining table for a family of four and I think could only seat six on occasion - more generous proportions would have made it even better. However it is beautifully designed, no way does it look recognisably 'M&S' (sorry but a good thing!), it feels beautiful and is modernist but softly so.

My lovely new table arrived this morning - it's gorgeous and looks fab in our kitchen. It was great value for money, and looks great, we have used three pairs of Toronto chairs with it, and they work perfectly. I am thrilled, and I have already had complements on both the table and the chairs. The ordering and delivery process with was easy and simple, and customer service has been excellent throughout. In reply to those talking about placing hot items on the surface, I wouldn't do that with any table, so I don't think that's an issue at all,

I love my new Conran dining table. The table looks far more expensive than it cost, and because of the see through base, it makes the room look bigger despite being a good sized table. It does make the occasional vibratory noise when heavy items are placed on it but that is only because the base is made of metal. The table cleans with an antibacterial spray and a sponge and I tend to clean spills right away as the table is white. We have spilled red wine on it and it still cleans up lovely.

i am disappointed with this table. it is situated in a kitchen diner on a wooden floor, and when placing cuttlery/plates etc there is always a vibration I presume due to the metal base. Also I find the table very difficult to clean. There are only two people in our house, occasional grandchildren visit, however there are lots of ring marks on the table caused by hot or cold drinks, and because the table is beside a window, I can see these marks very clearly. I presume as it is a dining table, drinks can be placed on it. either hot or cold. First time I have been disappointed with Marks and furniture.
