Yes, I recommend this
This dress is very stylish and flattering. I found the sizing true to size with a snug under layer and the top fabric slightly more roomy. My normal size (a curvy 12) fitted perfectly and the next size up was too big. It's a bit more spangly than I expected with quite large sequins but the over all shape and fit of the dress is fabulous.

Returned it, it ruffled at the back where the slip is attached to the dress and I had the urge to keep pulling it down so sent it back

I think it may be a mixture of both but that dress was never going to do up! Mind you if it had I probably couldn't have sat down in it anyway. Good idea but the fabric was a bit industrial and as I said too tight.

Way undersized

I am unable to move the slide above right across to the left on my iPad but trust me, this dress was sized so small I would have needed two sizes up for it to fit. In the same order I had a Per Una navy blue sequin dress in the same size which fitted perfectly and which I kept. This 'drop a size' dress went straight back! This was a real disappointment as the quality and finish were both great.

This was part of a 3 dress order - all size 14. Two fitted like a straightjacket and the third was like a tent. If you are going to order this, I would recommend going up a size. Unfortunately the discount which made it affordable had finished, so I could not reorder in time. Come on M&S - it's time to get to grips with your sizing once and for all!

What a lot of nonsense, they mean order a dress size larger than normal! I ordered 3 different size 14 dresses online, 2 were a perfect fit and this one was too tight and too short, a normal size 12.
