It was lovely and soft but quite thin in fact you can see right through it. I have kept the jumper as I ordered it online. I would 'nt have bought it in store though. I have worn it only once and haven't washed it as yet

My sister bought this jumper and I loved it so ordered one. I had read the reviews which said it was on the small size. I'm a 12-14 but bought size 16. It fitted perfectly except round the bust, it was bulky under the armpit. If I had ordered a smaller size it would have been too tight and the sleeves too short. I think one has to be a bit busty for it to fit nicely. Quality and price....excellent!!

PERFECT in every way! And I say this as someone who usually finds M&S jumpers rather frumpy (too short, too boxy, too high at the neck, weird mumsy colours etc etc). This one has a stylish cut, soft fabric, a great price, and is a super-versatile, sophisticated charcoal grey - what more could you want? If only it came in black and cream too :(

Lovely quality jumper for the winter. I liked the v neck though would have preferred it a little lower and would have preferred the top a little longer in length. The shorter length didn't suit me but I am 5'10 and quite long in the body so am sure it would be fab on someone more normal!

See through

It's really quite see through - so fine if you don't mind your bra showing or wearing a top underneath. V neck was good and fitted. I've sent it back as its too see through and thin for what I wanted it for.

I was so excited that M&S had returned to merino wool jumpers that I immediately ordered the charcoal in a size 10 (going off the sizes of M&S wool jumpers I have bought for years). Had to return it just as quickly. Such a shame as I have been complaining in reviews for years about the lack of merino jumpers. 1. the V is way too low - wouldn't be able to wear it without a top underneath. 2. the material was very thin. 3. the description didn't say that this was a long tunic style - would be ok with trousers but not wearing with skirts. 4. size 10 was too small/tight so recommend you size up. Such a shame as the colour was great.

Thank goodness M&S have returned to producing ladies jumpers in merino wool instead of the scratchy lambswool we have had to endure for the past 2 or 3 years. The only problem is I don't want black or charcoal. Other colours PLEASE!!! And if in any doubt I don't mean just 'neutral' shades! A range of fashionable colours would see me buying several of these well priced jumpers.

I bought the Charcoal jumper - it's very soft and light! Well even a little bit see-through, but it is not a problem with additional layer. What bothers me a little is that the V-neck is a little bit deeper than I have expected. I think I would wear it with a T-shirt.
