Padded Down Filled Jacket with Stormwear™

Warm, stylish and perfect fit. I'm 5ft and the coat came to just below my knee. I took the fur trim off the hood, personal choice. I'm really pleased with the coat and would definitely recommend this coat to others.

Bought this coat with high expectations which were not materialised. Found the coat still very bulky and although I am tall (1.78cm) and slim I felt like a stuffed sausage in it. Looking around me very few women look good in a belted voluminous coat. The length for me was great. The fact that the hood could not be detached was another minus point. .

At last! A long line warm water resistant coat. Not even those outdoor brands have thought of this. Whenever you get caught in rain it's always the top part of your legs to your knees that get wet. Not with this coat. Well done m&s! Next year make one that's completely water proof for the really heavy torrential rain that's becoming more frequent. As for the belt I thought you had to prise it open with your nails too but if you push in at the back almost like a lever movement it does open. Hope this helps....

I have been looking for a coat to keep me warm on the school run on cold/wet winter days and this one is just the job! I am 5ft 10" (size 8) and the small size was a perfect fit. It is mid calf length on me which is great as covers the top of my boots to keep me completely warm, dry and cosy! I can't wait for the cold frosty mornings so that I put it to the test. Even my hubby commented on what a nice coat & good buy it was!

Item is a bit too long. Ideal length would be mid calf (45").. Would also prefer a range of colours rather than just black please.

I love this coat. It even has an inside pocket for my iPod. The outside pockets are lined with a warm material. It also goes in the dryer which is very useful when it rains.

This coat is so warm and cozy, it feels like wearing a duvet! It goes right up to my neck and down to my ankles, even the pockets are fleece lined. Great value for money.

I'm delighted with this coat. It's long,cosy and looks stylish (without the fur trim). At last a coat to keep all of me warm down past the top of my boots. Perfect!

I wanted something plain and with chevron quilting as the square patterns makes you look bulky. The nipped in waist, long length and good quality down filling are just right for those bitter winter days when you don't want to be dragged down by a heavy coat. The detachable faux fur has come off - not my thing but this is personal choice really. The large size equated to about a 14.

Bought this coat to wear to watch my son play rugby. We live in East Anglia where the wind is very cold and chilling and the temperature in winter is bitter cold. I haven't worn it yet but am so looking forward to doing so. I am 5ft 6 and the coat comes almost to my ankles. It zips and poppers all the way to the bottom which is fantastic. It is light and soft but sooooooo warm. The hood is roomy, the collar pulls right up and the pockets are deep. I am sure it will keep out all the drafts as I stand on the touchline in driving rain, snow and gale force winds. Thank you M&S. This is just what I needed.

I purchased this for commuting in the early hours to work and back for the colder weather. It keeps me warm and cozy and great value for money.

I bought a similar coat from M & S 5 years ago but with large round collar as opposed to a hood. The belt fastener had two clips to push in and release the belt - this does not. I searched for a way to open it and it appears you have to dig your nails into the edge to open the buckle. Not very clever nor for myself with arthritis in fingers. I think it will also get very scratched trying to open - a bad design M & S! Coat is lovely and warm, great length but feel the high collar is perhaps too restricting and will be a battle not to rub make up onto the fabric!

I love this coat, it is just perfect for winter wear, light in weight and really warm and very stylish - the belt makes it look smart and slim, I have been looking for such a coat for quite a time and when I saw this coat on line I was really pleased and when it arrived it came up to my expectations, and it can be worn as smart or casual depending on what is worn with it.
