Floral Ruched Tea Dress

Love the dress and have received lots of compliments. Bought it on a 20% off offer so pleased with the price too. Only issue is that it's that material that 'shrinks' when you wash it and you need to iron it to get it back to size - didn't iron it properly and the back was longer than the front (which I didn't notice until I wore it out!). Overall a really pretty dress, easy to wash and wear.

These dresses are 40's inspired like the ones I wore in the 70's and they still suit my figure. A choice of two lengths would be good though

I really love this dress, the photo doesn't do the pattern justice......so pretty. It's flattering and hangs beautifully, is great with a cardigan for winter but pretty and light enough for spring right through to next winter Marks and spencer's really do seem to be going back to what they were so well loved for. I would definitely buy this dress in a different colour if it were available.

I liked this dress and it fits well. The ruching around the bust is flattering and the dress 'swings' nicely as I walk. However, it is quite flimsy and would benefit from being lined. Also, I would have liked it to have been a little bit longer - just below the knee instead of just on the knee.

Very pleased with purchase - arrived in short space of time and was just I expected.

This dress is so easy to wear, and it can be dressed up for evening time so easily. The material is of good quality and the sleeve length just right. Washes well too!

Lovely dress but material isn't heavy enough for winter. I'm confused as to why this is being sold now but I like it so much I'll keep it for next summer.

Bought this for my daughter and it is lovely. Would have given it 5 stars not 4 because the hem is not straight and is fractionally longer at the back but she didn't mind!

I never buy clothes from M&S only underwear and food. However, I noticed this in my local store. I'm a big fan of Diane Von Furstenberg dresses, and this M&S dress is very like a couple I have of hers in silk. This being viscose is wearable for everyday & machine washable. I love the 40s style shape, and the print (which is much nicer in real life than in the photo). It fits surprisingly well for a high street dress as the ties allow you to pull the waist just right. No idea why it's on sale at Christmas, as it's not a winter dress at all. The material is a bit thick for spring/summer but it will suit the English summer perfectly well. A surprised thumbs up from me.

I was actually wanting a winter-weight dress but this is more for the summer, so I will put it in the wardrobe until the warmer weather comes! The dress is quite feminine and looks nice on.

I was thrilled when I saw this dress - lovely print and material.But on trying it on , I was horrified that the sleeves are attached to the side seam of the dress, in a way that pulls the front yoke everytime I move my arms. Unwearable as it is and since I live in NZ I will have to try to get the problem rectified by a dressmaker, or throw it is the bin. It is such an easy-to-wear style if only the M&S sewing had been better. Most disappointed.
