Best of British Heritage Pure Wool Checked Scarf

Soft, warm and generously sized, this is just great. I had a hard time choosing as both colours are so nice. I ended up opting for the green check, which goes extremely well with all sorts of things. It's not a cheap scarf but who wants one of those? I think cheap scarves really are a false economy when a fine one like this performs so much better and makes you happy each time you wear it.

This beautiful, pure wool scarf is more like a garment, arriving draped over a coat hanger and fastened with a lovely brass pin. It's generously sized like a pashmina but it's soft and light too so warm without being bulky. My 25 year old daughter will be thrilled with this at Xmas and my only regret is not ordering another one for myself before the colourway sold out (timeless camel/cream/grey check). If you like the remaining colourway online, I'd advise you to order one before they sell out as I guarantee you won't be disappointed. This is a real find! Let's see more Best of British Heritage please M&S and less of your synthetic frilly stuff - this type of classic design in a quality material at an affordable price is what I've always shopped here for.

I love this scarf/shawl/wrap - it does everything, the colors are just perfect to wear with anything and it feels so soft, the pin is a nice touch,although I haven't used the pin yet I plan on wearing the scarf as much as possible. Worth the money although I did get 20% off !!

this fabulous scarf which i would say is a cashmina is a true one off!! never found anything so luxurious it makes you feel as if you own the world!!!! truly anyone wearing this will get first class attention by jove!!

very warm. I took delivery of this scarf/wrap yesterday and wore it last night with a pale pink polo neck M&S jumper. It looked beautiful - the colours are soft and heathery. Out of the 3 colours instore (and I like them all) this is the nearest to a Scottish tartan and won't date. The colours include soft greens and purple, a little blue, some camel and here and there a little burgundy. Because the colours are muted it would be easy to wear with a purple or camel top as well as pale pink. I've also draped it around my stone coloured raincoat and it gives a lift to what is quite a flat colour. This is a top quality item and extremely warm as I discovered last night - great as a wrap or muffled around the neck on a cold day. I was fortunate enough to buy it with 20% off but, as a British made item, I don't believe it is over-priced for those who can afford it. Highly recommend as an investment piece.

The most beautiful scarf I have seen for a long time. Lovely colours and excellent quality fabric. A true classic, yet bang on trend. Fantastic price. Any woman in Britain would love this as a present.
