Pure Cashmere Hooded Cardigan

The hoodie is everything that it purported to be. I was a little disappointed in the colour, it being more oatmeally than I had imagined, but I loved the feel of it so much I have got over it!

Love this cashmere hooded cardigan. Have one in Navy too. Its great for chilly summer nights. Its brilliant for long haul flights. Washes well and keeps its shape. Hope they bring more colours out in the winter.

I bought three in the SALE - the redwood and the navy and also the cream that I returned as it wasn't cream. ( why are M&S creams always biscuit coloured ? ) I now have at least 12 of these essential hoodies but liked the two new colours as so bored with the ubiquitous tones of grey and beige. The new style is quite good although I preferred the previous covered zip. I was so relieved they were not those hideous short and baggy ones of last winter !

Bought this for a friend, who is absolutely delighted with the look, feel & fit of this item. She is now desperate for other pieces of cashmere. Already she has found just how good value this item is. Sometimes, I feel many people have over-expectations of M&S quality v price. Personally, I spent over £500 for a cashmere cardigan for myself last year, whilst the quality is excellent, I believe that this M & S product is better value for money.

I bought this about three months ago in redwood colour way along with the cashmere trousers in the same colour and although I paid full price and this colour is now reduced in both top and trousers, I consider it a wonderful purchase well worth the original price. Reduced its a steal, an absolute bargain. I've bought one of these sets every year in different colours and you can't tell the oldest from the newest. Personally although the label says machine wash, I don't. I like to wash it in cashmere wash, rinse well in very cool water, the final rinse with conditioner, and place in a pillow case for a short spin. Look after your cashmere and it'll last you for years. Never, ever tumble dry cashmere, regardless what labels say. Hang to dry. Yummy.,

Trendy and sqidgey, expensive but feels good.

I love hoodies ! This is one good. Quality OK altho can be a bit thicker. The only thing I think M&S should definitely change is the zip. I bought one from another source; they have this really great looking zip which is wider and very attractive. Makes the whole hoodie look great altho it doesn't change anything else. M&S, I hope u will make this again next year in more colours and with a better zip ! Will definitely buy them all !

The style of this cardigan is quite casually smart - just what I wanted for travelling however, the cashmere is finer than I expected at the price!

Good length - I'm a size 8 and 5' 3. Lovely colour and nice cashmere. It washed well although I did wash it by hand, very good value.

Nice and long, but somehow still very unflattering in shape and fit with fiddly details that make this hoody very frumpy. Also, although nice and smooth in finish (rather than fluffy), it is rather thin, so if it's anything like the black Autograph hoody I got a couple of years ago (also a bit of an unflattering shape to be honest, but I really needed it for travel) it won't be that warm. I sent it back.

Poor quality. Very thin for cashmere.

When my second son washed my previous cashmere hoody at 90oC I jumped straight into the car and ordered a replacement instore. These cardigans are so useful for school runs, post exercise cool-downs and just about any time I need to be warm without looking bulky. I was delighted to find that the hoodies now come in loads of different colours, so this time I treated myself to a charcoal one which goes with jeans. There was a 40% price increase from buying the first hoody which was quite a shock, but on the other hand the new product was made from better quality cashmere and there was additional re-enforcement around the pocket area.
