A fox design is something I've not seen before and any department store should invest in good design - especially for older girls. I will be keeping them, because they'll do the job of being not too young / too boring for an 11 year old and they are good value. The cream pair with the folksy Poinsetta design is my favourite - as I fancy them for myself! There is a mm offset along the length of the stripy ones but I doubt my daughter will spot it and my kids love stripes. For those that like zingy colours, the neutral beige/grey used on a couple of pairs is a tad dull (practical alternative to white, I guess). The length should be alright for shoes, trainers and short ankle boots. The fabric weight is perfect - neither thick, nor thin and the 4-7s should easily fit daughter's wide size 4's.
