Side Split Turtle Neck 3/4 Sleeve Tunic

Being such a fine knit I was surprised at the warmth it gave, great fit and feel to the fabric and a pleasure to wear.

Very soft and comfortable fit. Love the material.

It was the length and one of my favourite colours that initially attracted me to this tunic top however I was a bit unsure about the neckline as it looked higher than I expect a turtle neck to be and as I have a short neck I don't usually get on with roll necks.However I decided to try it. Having now received the item the fabric is a lot thinner than I expected and although a relaxed fit is a bit more clingy over the lumps and bumps than I would prefer so I would recommend going up a size especially if you're between sizes or not super slim around the middle! It is definitely not a turtle neck though which should just fit around the lower part of the neck. It's a roll neck that you fold over and would normally stand up and cover more of the neck. However because the fabric is so thin and soft it flops down rather than stands up I haven't worn it yet though so don't know how it will be after a few wears and washes! I don't understand though why M&S seem to have stopped offering more than one colour choice in so many items. For those who like the style of this tunic but don't like purple they don't have another colour choice and for those of us who would like additional colours there aren't any! Perhaps increasing more colour choice would help increase sales!

This top is described as turtle neck - it isn't a turtle neck, it is a roll neck. Normally, roll neck or polo neck fit very closely to the neck, this one doesn't, it is very loose and looks baggy round the neck. After wearing, it also looks baggy. I haven't washed it yet, so don't know how it will wash, but I am disappointed with the way it looks after wearing.

... but would have loved even more if long-sleeved rather than 3/4 length.
