I appreciate the long fittings offered by M&S, without which I would be stuck for clothes. However, this item had arms that were too long even for me and a body hardly longer than a normal fit. It was acrylic with very little warmth so had to be returned.

The extra length on this cardigan makes all the difference on the larger man. The pale version is more of an oatmeal colour. It looks good with jeans or smart trousers and is a medium weight so great for layering.

Normally I would buy medium, but reading the reviews I was advised to get small and it was a perfect fit. I am 5ft 10inch tall and this cardigan in a small size fits my arms and body length alright, though its still a bit longer on arms and along the waits but the width wise it fits my body perfectly. However I do have to fold the sleeves still which I don't mind at all as I always do with all my other cardigans. I've only wore it for a day so cannot really comment on the lasting quality, but so far good. I am thinking of buying another colour.

Liked the jacket and the style but not true to size. Found it too baggy and length of arms far too long.... Shame so have returned XXL and ordered XL for a guy who is usually able to buy a standard XXL from M&S longer fit.
