Wooden Garage with Vehicles

This is a very good model of a garage with two upper floors. The idea of having a lift is very good and has proved a good example and introduction to minor technical engineering. Assembling it however proved very frustrating. The holes in the dowels were not big enough for the screws provided. We had to drill out the dowels before we could continue with assembly. For a single person or someone without basic tools it would have been a disaster. Final assembly and ongoing use has shown it to be quite robust, however only a single dowel on the top floor makes the floor a bit unstable if children press on the sides.

Garage looked attractive on webpage but arrived in a small box as a kit to be constructed. The rods which held up each floor were not drilled correctly. There were no construction instructions. The ramps do not have a permanent fitting. The lift is difficult to use to put cars in and out on the lower floors. A very disappointing purchase. Not good value for money.

As plastic are soon a big nono I was very happy to find this fantastic garage for one of my grandchildren. He is so happy and so are we, well build, easy to build, the toys are well one. Bravo M&S for all the wooden toys that was in your toy departement this christmas
