Twiggy for M&S Collection Colour Block Shift Dress

I got a 10 which absolutely swamped me-I know a shift should be loose but this was as ill-fitting as a sack. Shame as I liked the design and thought the colours were lovely.

I'm 5'1". Because this dress is for a taller person, this dress' neckline rose and sat at my hairline at the back and chin at the front. I was pulling it down most of the time and it would rise up again. It would be a lovely dress if it was in petite size. Not for me.

Really loved this dress, both the quality and style were excellent unfortunately the top was way too big although the it fitted everywhere else, I sadly had to return this item .

Although this dress is a little short I love the styling and fabric. It is a crepe fabric with nice seam detail on the sleeves and side pockets which I was not expecting. I think it's meant to be roomy that is the styling of it so it really is alike a shift dress. The second one I ordered was much better than the first as the sleeves had been cut tighter on the first one I ordered but the replacement is just right. Not for everyone but a stylish simple shift dress.

I was really looking forward to receiving this as felt sure it would fit and look good. How wrong could I be! It made me look like the bag lady. I'm sure it would look better on a fuller frame/figure but at 5' 3" and a size 8 the style was not flattering and was far too roomy a fit. Shame as it has the potential to be really nice.

Thought it looked good online, so ordered a 10, usually my size in M & S but for me it was too big around the middle, I appreciate it was not a fitted dress but nevertheless..... Also too short for my liking, I am 5ft 6in and it was above my knee, so all in all a bit of a disappointment.

I tried the 18 & 22 could not get the size 20 but the 22 was lovely on but too big for me .the material was lovely and it hang well .Very sad not to get it in my size
